Today (23rd) the new bridge of Manbauz Salihad Road constructed by Puttalam Municipal Council was inaugurated by the Chairman Mr. M.S.M. Rafeek & Urban Councillors  Ranees Badurdeen, Askin, Jauber Marikar and Arif Sihan also attended the opening ceremony.

In place of the bridge that was swept away by the massive flood last year, this bridge has been constructed with the direct participation of the urban council officers and employees in cooperation with the council members on the behalf of the chairman.
